Annual Report: The design needed a tangible connection to the previous year’s theme of “off from the starting blocks” and focused on the fact that a time had gone by with a years steady growth since the launch. From many options the visual use of a stop watch to measure performance over time was implemented. The stop watch needed to be personalised to the company and because of cost efficiencies a 3D model was developed and rendered rather than physically producing one and using photography.

Xmas Card: As a newly launched service company the card needed to have high impact, originality and relevance. The business was essentially about cleaning so the card played on all the senses to communicate the service offer, in particular the emotive sense of smell when fresh laundry arrives with the fragrance of soap powder. A simple background of trees and falling snow was inserted into a self seal clear bag with a measure of actual soap powder so it could act as a snow scene that changed every time it was given a shake. On the back the message re-enforced the service offer with the words “Wishing you a White Christmas”.

Branding: Develop new branding for Daughter Company specialising in Workwear rental and cleaning. The branding needed to reflect the two service areas. One of traditional corporate work wear and the second of a younger fashion conscious work wear. The logotype was split down the middle one side implementing traditional corporate colours and layout implementation, whilst the second used bright fresh colours and inventive layout implantation. The branding implementation was supported by a corporate guideline supplied to every relevant manger.

The business growth was so successful over the initial 3 year period that external investors bought and enveloped Laundrycraft into its parent holding.
